FIRST MASTER OF THE LODGE...BROTHER WILLIAM PILMER FOUNDER MEMBER
Above the R.W.M. chair in the temple is a portrait of the Lodge's First Master Bro William Pilmer who was a member of Lodge Nisbet Tranent 1112. The portrait was painted by Bro Robert Close from a photograph and presented to the Lodge by Bro. Norman Ritchie P.M. to commemorate the 25th Anniversary. It is there to remind us, the debt of gratitude we owe to Bro William Pilmer and all the lodge founder members.The Founder Members Board is alongside the portrait, again to remind us of our founder members.The founders Members Board was made and presented to the Lodge by Bro James Harvey P. M. to celebrate our 40th anniversay. Bro James Harvey also made the lodge furniture and again presented it to the lodge on that occasion.
The R.W.M chair and the working tools on display in the temple were made and presented to the Lodge by the late Bro Sandy Fraser who was our R.W.M. when he passed to the Grand Lodge above in 1986.
